Christmas Show 2019 – “Glad Tidings”

Our Christmas Show 2019, “Glad Tidings”, was performed on December 12th and 13th. We brought the audience to Bethlehem, approximately two thousand years ago, in order to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This traditional tale wasn’t without a few modern twists however.

Joseph used google maps to try to find an air bnb, Ceasar Augustus was looked after by security men rather than Roman soldiers, the angels rang the shepards on the mobile with the good news that a baby had been born and the shepards arrived with helium balloons for the baby!

Senior pupils sang and narrated most professionally, whilst wearing their individually designed Santa hats. Additionally, all classes wowed the audience with instrumental performances. It was a most enjoyable, festive experience and we thank all those who joined us.
