Many thanks to everyone who supported “Pancake Monday” and St Patrick’s Festival Ice Cream Day.
The combined revenue was €140.

The Parents’ Association is happy to support the RSE parents’ talk on the evening of May 22nd by Ms Mary Dillon.
We invite you all to attend.

We take great pride on our school’s appearance, and the surrounding area. The school has always participated in the “National Spring Clean” and we hope to do so again this year. We hope to see as many families as possible participating on Thursday April 10th at 2pm, coinciding with the early closure of the school for a staff meeting.

Many thanks to those who have contributed Easter treats for our Treasure Hunt on Friday. It will be a fun way for the children to begin their Easter holidays.

As the match season approaches, please purchase your child’s personal maroon socks from any member of the PA committee;
Marie Ryan, Marie O’Dwyer, Grace Savage, Michelle Butler, Riah Hogan.

Dates for your diary;
April 10th: Spring Clean, tidying up the Knockane “Ring”.
Meet at the school, 2pm, please bring rubber gloves and a bin bag.

April 11th: Easter Egg Treasure Hunt, Easter Holidays at 12.30

April 28th: Return to School

May 5th: May Bank Holiday

May 16th: Recycling! An excellent opportunity to have a clear-out and drop off your textiles to Garrydoolis NS on May 16th. We will take your old clothing, men’s, women’s and children’s, household textiles (curtains, sheets, towels) belts, shoes, handbags or soft toys. No mats, rugs, duvets or wet clothing please. Put your old recyclables to good use and help us to fund activities for the pupils of Garrydoolis NS.

May 18th: First Holy Communion for Garrydoolis and Barna

May 22nd: RSE talk to 5th and 6th class children during the day, and parents that evening.

May 23rd: School closed due to local elections
